Flipcartoons Studio
Flipcartoons was founded in 2008 by Razor out of a desire to create stories without the restrictions they would have working for an established studio. While they grew up with the cartoons created by Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, etc, and still admire those studios and the artists that work for them very much; they wanted the freedom to bring their own ideas to life rather than working for someone else. This ideal is still important to Flipcartoons today as we aim to think out of the box and tell unique stories that our audience won’t find anywhere else.
Shortly after this, in 2009, Razor was joined by Rebeca who was invited onboard because of their creativity and expressive art style. Rebeca enjoys working with others to help bring their ideas and characters to life, creating stories that are a joint effort and involve everyone putting their own spin on the setting and premise, and making people happy with their art. All of this, too, is essential to Flipcartoons. [The] World is Mine, like everything we aim to produce, is a collaborative story with characters written by different people brought together to tell one story. One that we hope will bring joy to our audience.
HD is a much more recent addition to the team, joining only in mid 2020, they were immediately captivated by the passion and determination of the existing Flipcartoons team as well as the creativity of the stories they told. They wanted, and still want, to help publish these stories so that everyone can appreciate the amount of love and dedication poured into them. [The] World is Mine is in some ways a decade in the making, every ounce of growth, development, mistakes made and learned from, stress, sadness, joy, and love experienced by our members has been poured into this story.
The Team
Razor
Bianca Alves (better known as “InkCartoon” or “Razor” on the internet) was born in Santos-SP but unfortunately lives in “São Viselva”, a place that’s more lost than the kingdom of Atlantis but with a small diference, here we have an Ipupiara.
With a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, they’ve worked in a few agencies but currently work as a Freelancer. Razor is agender, so please make sure to use They/Them pronouns, and if you’re one of those people who’s against neutral pronouns GO FUCK YOURSELF BECAUSE I’M AGAINST THE HUMAN RACE AND GUESS WHAT I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH EVERYDAY AND BREATHE THE SAME AIR AS YOU DO! But here I am, respecting everyone’s personal lives, so it’s only fair if you pay it forward as well don’t you agree?
Anyways! Razor has a bit of an explosive temper, but they have a marshmallow heart that makes them have a stroke weeping at any sad scene on a movie and lay down on the floor in fetal position with sinusitis wondering what the meaning of life is.
One of their greatest passions is design (in general) and colors, so whenever they see a job well done, you can be sure o fone thing, they’ll be staring at it for hours appreciating each detail and clapping their hands like a seal out of pure delight.

And to top it all off, Razor tries to survive battling against their own bad luck that haunts them since birth, and they can be dead inside and out, but they’ll keep fighting for their projects until their final breath. ( So then their body can finally be incinerated to be pressurized and transformed into a gemstone to join Rebeca on the future sacred ritual for the legendary sword that currently has no name. )

Muffin
Rebeca David (also known as Logan Berry Muffin) is a Juris Doctor, translator and artist from Rio de Janeiro. A fun fact about Rio is that it’s not the capital of Brazil. A fun fact about Muffin is that they don’t find it funny when someone thinks the capital of Brazil is Rio de Janeiro, or if someone doesn’t know that Brazil is located in South America (“it’s the fifth largest country in the world!!” -Muffin).
Muffin goes by any pronouns, which means you can’t misgender them if you get angry over their opinions on the internet. That’s, not a problem, because all their opinions are impeccable and eloquent, seeing as they’re a Virgo. If you’re interested in issuing happy birthday messages, do so on September 1st. Because that’s when their birthday is.
You may have noticed we used the term “Juris Doctor” as opposed to “lawyer”. That’s because Muffin did NOT take the Prova da OAB and decided to pursue art instead. Whether that was a mistake or not is yet to be determined. As a translator, however, they’ve accomplished amazing tasks such as: doing the PT-BR localization for “Chicory: A Colorful Tale” and literally nothing else. Well, nothing that their name is credited for. That’s translation agencies for you.
Muffin is of Syrian-Lebanese descent on their father’s side and they will NOT shut up about it. Their mother specifically mentioned they looked “Phoenician” once, which is a wild thing to say considering that civilization hasn’t been around for over two thousand years. Their father’s side of the family is also the coolest side, because that’s the one with the Mizrahi jewish community (DISCLAIMER: not all of it).
Here’s some of their favorite things in no particular order:

- Period of brazilian history: the one time brazilians tried to copy the “Belle Époque” movement by dressing in fancy clothes but they forgot the country is a lot warmer than France so people were getting heatstrokes on the streets

As a closing statement, they’d like everyone to know their dying wish: “if I die, I want to donate my body to a university so students can do cool science stuff with it. Then, I want HD to plan a corpse heist to take it back, because they have to incinerate it for the next step. The ashes should be pressurized and turned into a gemstone, which should in turn be encrusted on a sword (yet to be named). Now that’s where the fun begins. I need everyone to pretend like you didn’t read this, so when humanity collapses in the future and aliens come to study Earth they’ll find my sword and think it belonged to a knight from an ancient empire. I want to be immortalized as the most successful con artist in the world.”

HD
HD was born [redacted] Rose DiMattia (Disclaimer: no relation to Blaze C. Rose, they were named for their Aunt who was presumably named for another relative and so on and so forth as italian families are want to do. Blaze was named for a plant.) they ask that you refer to them only as HD or Hollow and not by their given name. Nothing will happen if you don’t, but they’ll think you’re a jerk. Because that’s kind of a jerk move. Why would you do that? Rude.
They are genderflux which is like genderfluid but even less people know what it means. The pronouns she/her, he/him, they/them all work, if you must refer to them at all.
Currently, HD lives in Pennsylvania, as they have for most of their life. Interestingly, they were actually born in Georgia. (Disclaimer: this isn’t actually all that interesting but HD has traveled very little in their life because they are what one would call broke. So interesting in this context is relative to the subject.)
They have a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Communications– which is a really fancy title for “Film School”–where they actually learned and retained a surprising amount of information. Except for Spanish. If their Spanish professor is reading this they would like to express the most profound apology for not retaining a single word of Spanish. You were an excellent professor, really, it’s just that most of their brain space is taken up by Legend of Zelda lore and Tally Hall lyrics and the Spanish simply had to go.
Also, they have decided to learn Portuguese instead. Because Portuguese is objectively better than Spanish. This is a proven fact that no one can dispute.
HD is also autistic. We mention this because they cannot shut up about it. Or Legend of Zelda. Because it is their special interest, and they are autistic. Funny how that works. Anyway, other things HD enjoys include Music (pretty much all of it), Animals (pretty much all of them), Anime (specifically the Magical Girl genre), Women, the color Pink, Glitter, Playing Video Games With Friends (terribly), and Scrolling Through Tik Tok at 3 am.
They are an individual of many skills, some of which they are actually good at. Most of which they think they are better at than they really are. But that is ok. Because they are awesome. And when you’re awesome and confident then who cares if you’re good at other things?
