Friends and Enemies!! As we get further and further into the story of [The] World is Mine, more characters are starting to make their first appearances! Very exciting, we know. We’re excited too, believe it or not. The entire story of [The] World is Mine has been entirely outlined and we’re several episodes ahead when it comes to scripting, so we’re in a pretty much constant state of eagerly waiting to be able to share information with you all–without too many spoilers, of course.
We have a few turnarounds completed that you haven’t seen yet, but you’ll see them soon. And today you’ll see the full turnaround for a character that was introduced in the latest episode of [The] World is Mine; Rufus Ambershard!!

Rufus was a super fun character to design and write. Like Maple, he falls on the hero end of the villain-hero spectrum but he tends to be a lot more bombastic than his laid back friend. Rufus and Maple balance each other out, with Rufus having calmed down quite a bit since meeting Maple.
He values standing up for the weak and won’t hesitate to use his strength to put those who wrong people he cares about in their place. Rufus will give second chances but he is by no means a pushover. There’s a lot more to what makes Rufus, well, Rufus, but that will all be revealed in due time. For now, we’ll conclude by saying that the culture of Tieflings plays a large role in who Rufus is and, by virtue of breaking those conventions, who he isn’t.
